Nothing exciting going on around here.  Today is town day.  I have a list!  Not that traipsing around town in 100 degree weather will be fun.  The list isn't as bad as it could be.  I did have deliver and pick up table on the list.  Since that happened yesterday I am free of doing that.

Yesterday was one of those beat your head against the wall days because of children's choices.  Or is that beat their heads?     I noticed the doggy treats were out.  I ask who had them?   "Not me!"  Three times!   OK line up and stand and someone fess up!   I waited and waited.  This USUALLY works!  I talk and wait.  Finally one of them's body language and attitude lead me to believe it was her.  So I give her the consequences. Oh the tears! Oh the screams! Oh the "BUT IT ISN'T FAIR!!!" Each time I calmly said, you can take it up with dad tonight. Life went on! I continued to work on my loom. Finally she got it out of her system. I had also said along, "I won't discuss this as long as you are screaming."

When she was ready to discuss it she still says she didn't do it. I pointed out how many times in the past she has said the same thing. She said she has stopped lying, I pointed out how many times I have heard that too. I gave different times that she did the same thing and days later would admit she was lying and want to know how I knew. I told her if she didn't do it, then consider this a consequence for all the lies in the past. That her past just bit her in the butt!

She later came to me and said she went upstairs and talked to God. He said don't worry about it. Obey your mom and He would deal with the person that did it. She still had the consequences to do. They are either the consequences of long term lying or for not speaking truth today.

After about an hour Mystery solved!!! It was T! Grrrrr so she is so deep in trouble she may never see the light of day so to speak! I ask a different question. Something that MN had said in her tirade made me wonder. She said T had feed treats to Mouse (cat). Mouse was in when I came in from chores. So I ask if she let Mouse in the house? Busted! She now has to finish the consequences that I had written out. Do MN's chores for a week as pay back. She has lost swimming for ?????? that will depend on attitude. I think she will spend her "play" time writing sentences too.

Kids! Don't you love them!

What is interesting is MN's reaction! She even said she felt like she wanted to hug her and tell her she forgave her. She did! She seems sad that T would make this choice, not angry. This is such an improvement and growth in MN.   God's hand is so working in her heart.

Still no answer from CPS on if pictures will work.  Still no finger prints!   Tonight J should call again!   I look fwd to our chats and wish they could be longer.  That will come in time I know.  For now I am grateful for the few minutes we DO get to chat.

So far the little goats are doing good.  Or they were as of last night.  I have only bottled them once.  MN is doing it.  She loves it!   Yesterday my milker quit working again.  The veins that make the vacuum work get gunky and stick.  You have to take it apart and clean it with some stinky stuff.  I was hoping dh would do it last night, but he got in late and was tired so..... Maybe my son will do it this morning.  If not, I may just hold cows up until tonight and do them.  They won't be happy, but I will get enough milk for a couple of days.   My ds can do the milker and I will still get to town in a timely manor.  Kids would like to go to the park a while.
